Seaside Relaxation
AMI is located next to the seaside village of Panormo in North Rethymnon. The picturelesque Panormo is known for its bays and beaches with crystal clear waters, ideal for swimming but also for many water sports.
Concept and idea
The director and owner of the luxury residence AMI, Yiannis Filopoulos, envisioned and created a contemporary, high aesthetics space, which can be an ideal vacation destination. Looking for the perfect name for the residence, he came across the concept of friendship. The greek translation of “friend” is “Filos”, a word which is contained in his surname “Filopoulos”. Filos – Friend is main synthetic many words that evoke positive associations, such as “philoxenia” (hospitality), “philotimo” (a unique greek word for good will), “philokalia” (love for the positive and nice things).
Love philosophy
The French translation of Philos: “AMI” is brief and meaningful. Conceptually, it carries all these positive connotations. At the same time, in Italian language “AMI” means “Love”, and we can assure that we love high quality hospitality. AMI perfectly expresses our life philosophy and point of view, and we are sure that fellow guests will love it too.
