Panormo
This is a sandy beach on the west end of the Panormo fishing village, a really popular destination because of the blue sea and the great sandy beach. While there are some small coves for those who prefer to be alone, most of the place is fully organized. There are taverns serving fresh fish, options for water sports and you can rent umbrellas and sun beds
Mpali
There are four beaches around the village of Bali and you have to explore all of them. The beaches are formed by sand and gravel and the green blue waters are always cool because of the fresh water that runs in the sea. The four beaches provide different options and will satisfy every taste. There are taverns and restaurants, cafes and water sports and you can rent umbrellas and sun beds. There is a regular correspondence of buses to Bali so you don’t need a car to get there.
Geropotamos

On the beach there are coastguards most of the time and you can rent umbrellas and sun beds.

This one is one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, featuring a river with small waterfalls and palm trees, a must see for everyone. But this kind of astonishing natural beauty comes at a price as you can’t reach the beach by car. You will either have to park your car to the Preveli Monastery parking and use the stairs (10-15 minutes’ walk) or you will have to drive to Plakia and board on a small boat that leaves the village at 10:30 every morning. Once you arrive at the beach you will find a small restaurant plus some umbrellas and sun beds to rent.
Plakias
The Plakias beach receives a great number of visitors every year thanks to the beautiful sandy beach and the crystal clear water. The beach is well organized, there are you umbrellas and sun beds for rent plus a variety of restaurants, cafes and water sports. You can also scuba dive and check on the astonishing underwater world of the area
